Utilising Epic Games’ cutting edge Unreal Engine Technology, SAF-SOLO™ is an Individual Training Platform which operates using a standalone headset . It enables trainees to conduct self-led learning, managed and reviewed by an Instructor, supporting kinaesthetic, audio and visual learning styles.
SAF-SOLO™ integrates with a learning management systems, providing exploitable data ranging from individual coaching and mentoring requirements, through to measuring training efficiency and effectiveness.
The SAF-SOLO™ application suite is designed to complement existing training by delivering an immersive means of learning the requisite practical skills that are common to all areas of defence across the respective military training continuum. The suite is designed to be expandable and allow new content to be added depending on training needs.
The modules currently provided with SAF-SOLO™ include Weapon Handling, Platform Recognition, Navigation and Field Craft.
