Description:
SAF-FIRES for SAF-TAC™ (SAF-JTAC™) is a state-of-the-art Call-For-Fires (CFF) and Close Air Support (CAS) training system and includes all the software components necessary to setup a turnkey system to create and run training scenarios, review training results and create new courseware as training needs evolve.
Combining SimCentric’s proven, accreditable and industry leading Joint Fires and JTAC training technology with the flexibility, stunning visuals and high-fidelity simulation supported by the Unreal Engine used in SAF-TAC™, SAF-JTAC™ delivers a complete and scalable solution for JTAC simulation-based training.
SAF-JTAC™ supports Close-Air-Support training including (including Gunship CAS, Attack Helicopter, Fixed Wing and UAS engagements), Call-For-Fire (including complex mission such as Coord Illum), Fire Planning, Naval Surface Fire Support, and Precision Fires. The sophisticated Artificial Intelligence allows all aircraft and firing platforms to be controlled automatically, allowing complex and asset rich missions to be simulated.
When coupled with suitable hardware and devices, it can be used for accredited training, supporting type 1, 2 and 3 controls.
SAF-JTAC™ is suitable for deploying in type 1, 2 and 3 accreditable simulators, and even for desktop-based JTAC training. Some of the supported training configurations include:
- Desktop-based individual training
- Classroom based, instructor led
- Flat screen displays
- Dome deployment
- Virtual and/or Mixed Reality implementations.
